Modo Yoga Teacher Training Waiver of Liability & Acknowledgement of Risk

Acknowledgement of Risk and Terms:

I, the undersigned, hereby acknowledge and agree to the following:

Voluntary Participation:

1. I am voluntarily participating in the Modo Yoga Teacher Training Program (hereinafter referred to as "the training") offered by Modo Yoga International (hereinafter referred to as "MYI"). I understand that the training involves physical activity and the practice of yoga.

Assumption of Risk:

1. I understand that participating in yoga classes, teacher training, and related activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to, physical injury, mental stress, and emotional distress. These risks may result from my own actions, inactions, or negligence, as well as from the actions, inactions, or negligence of others, the condition of the facilities, equipment used, and other variables.

Health and Physical Condition:

1. I hereby confirm that I am in good physical and mental health, and I have consulted with a physician or healthcare provider regarding my participation in the Program. I do not have any medical condition that would prevent my participation or increase the risk of injury or illness.

Release of Liability:

1. In consideration of being allowed to participate in the Program, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless MYI, its owners, directors, officers, employees, instructors, agents, and representatives (collectively referred to as "Released Parties") from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action that I may hereafter have for injuries, damages, or losses arising out of or related to my participation in the training, including, but not limited to, those resulting from the negligence of the Released Parties.

Indemnification:

1. I agree to indemnify and hold the Released Parties harmless from any and all claims, actions, suits, procedures, costs, expenses, damages, and liabilities, including attorney's fees, brought as a result of my participation in the Program and to reimburse them for any such expenses incurred.

Photo/Video Release:

1. I grant permission for MYI to use any photographs, videos, or other recordings taken during the training that include my image, voice, or likeness for promotional, marketing, and educational purposes.

Governing Law:

1. This Waiver of Liability & Acknowledgement of Risk shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Country/Province/State in which the training is located. Any disputes arising under or in connection with this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that Country/Province/State.

Payment & Refund Policy

1. I understand that this purchase is non-refundable after 72 hours. If a refund is requested within 72 hours of purchase, funds will be returned less a $200 processing fee. After 72 hours, I understand that my training tuition becomes transferable only and must be applied to a training taking place within 365 days of the initial payment day. After 365 days, I understand that my training can no longer be transferred.
2. I acknowledge that MYI is not liable for additional fees or transaction charges levied by my bank.
